UPDATE: INDEED, The US GAMES WORK, BUT YOU HAVE TO PATCH IT DIFFERENTLY, ONCE PATCHED JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AS IF THEY WHERE THE JP VERSIONS.

OK, for the past two days people been struggling for making Pokemon White/Back functional on their R4 SDHC.
Today, with a special thanks to Aurionfox, and anyone else who contribited to this finding, i will be posting this tutorial with the means of helping those who haven't had any luck booting eather Pokemon White/Black on their R4 SDHC.

First of all *links to ROMS are not allowed* so don't ask.

Things you will need
1.- Pokemon Black/White rom. (Don't ask, Google is your friend).
2.- Rudolph patch for the freezes.
3.- Lunar Ips for Exp fix.
4.- Desmume emulator.
5.- PC and R4SDHC.
6.- Official kernel 1.34
7.- microSD (2g recommended) (Anything greater than 2g gave me problems, feel free to try)

First this works with a R4SDHC, but if you have another one feel free to try it. (R4SDHC Only tested)

Download bellow (it has everything you need)

1.- Get a clean pokemon white or black rom (Dont't ask)

2.- Extract the contents of Pokemon Fix R4SDHC and First use the *Patch Black Fix* or *Patch White Fix* this is for Freezes. (included on Download link)

Patch the version you want using the corresponding Patch.(In this case pokemon Black)

3.- Now use the IPS patcher for the Experience AP (Included on Download link)

Use the correct IPS patcher corresponding on your version (In this case Pokemon Black)

4.- Once patched start the games using Desmume emulator, Start the Patched rom you created and save before you get your PKMN, Once you save you can close the emulator.

5.- Copy everything that is on The *SD* folder to the root of your microSD.

6.- Copy your patched rom to your microSD.

7.- Start your DS

8.- Boot WAIO.NDS

9.- Press (B) and find then Boot woodr4dldi.nds

10.- Once that is finish, find your rom, press (Y) then (Y) again.

11.- Press ® and make sure Cheat In Game(AR) is off and Reset In Game Off, Then press (A) to save, then(A) again.

12.- Boot your rom, it should freeze with two white screens.

13.- Turn off your DS. Then ON again and boot WAIO.NDS then woodr4dldi.nds again.

14.- Find your rom again, press (Y) again, then (Y) again, but this time change your save type to 512kb. Then press (A) to save.

15.- Boot your rom, this time it will work. Play a little bit and then save. If you boot your rom again and try to load it will erase your save file. (a blue screen with letters will show). If that shows you did it right.

16.- Now Go on your PC and connect yor microSD and find your save and erase it.

17.- Now find your RAM folder in the emulator, it should have a *ROMNAME*.dsv

18.- Now copy *ROMNAME*.dsv to the same folder you have your room on your microSD and change the file extension from .dsv to .sav

If for some reason when you load the .sav file on your R4 SDHC and it gives you a black screen, try using R4 Save Converter.

19.- Now Boot WAIO.NDS, Then woodr4dldi.nds and find your rom.

20.- Press (Y) twice and change the save type from 512kb back to *unknown/auto* then press (A) to save.

And if that doesn't work try putting 64M instead of auto/uknown. Some people claimed it worked for them.

If you did it right, it should boot and you will be able to save, gain EXP and no freezes. Enjoy

I'd like to try it myself, but I fear the loss of the data and the usage of my card/SD. I'm broke flat so I couldn't afford a new card if it went downhill, which is why I'm stuck here asking for assistance. >

well, so i'm doing it right ._. i converted the file and all but when i change the save file option from 512kb to auto/unknown i just get 2 white screens ;-;

yeah, something like that, i can play with 512kb option, but aurion told me to use the auto/unknown,but i just get 2 white screens with this option;-;

And something important for everyone still trying the 512 kb option, first of all DON'T DO IT ANYMORE!!!!, your save game become corrupted after that, you need a new copy of your save to the SD

well i saw the picture of the r4 your using and mine is the same. and i dont know which frimware i have but i changed it twice today and one of the frimwares doesnt start and stays loading so i cant even open WAIO

This is what I do with the ROM:

Original name: b-pokemonb.nds.

Try your normal firmware because if you can't get to work the firmware we have then is not a *true* R4SDHC, or try a different firmware

im using my normal firmware now. but i dont know what to do. when i use a cetain rom it gives me a blue screen and it loads forever and then i use another rom and no blue screen but the loading stays. not even the white screen comes up DX someone should post a video with the process

How to get this working!

(that's how I did)

1- When you got to Step 15, and the game freezes in prof. third speech, turn off your ds. Turn it on again, goto waio.nds, then waior4dldi.nds, and then press y, then y again, and set save type: unknown/auto. Turn off your ds.
2- connect your SD to your pc, and delete the save.
3- Download Aurionfox saves, it's in this topic.
4- Put the save in your SD, and rename it acording to the .nds pokemon black/white game. (Ex.: the name of my rom is Pokemon Black.nds. My save is Pokemon Black.sav.)
5- Start your DS, goto waio.nds, then waior4dldi.nds. Run Pokemon Black/White. It should work now.

That's how I did, I don't know if it would work for you guys too.

You can restart the game (make a new game) with the save file from Aurion. It works! Prof. don't freeze in the third speech.

I will try to upload my exact R4 SDHC specifications sometime tomorrow, I'm away from my comp now.

But if you can't wait until tomorrow, just KEEP EXPERIMENTING AND DOING TRIAL AND ERROR. I have been sitting by my comp from 2 pm to 9 pm trying to fix my R4. You WILL get frustrated, but don't give up!

i did every step that's on the tutorial, i even got the blue screen, so i deleted the save file on the miroSD and used the one i converted from .dsv to .sav, then i put it on my microSD, booted waio, then woodr4dldi, changed the save file option to auto/unknown , booted the game and got 2 white screens 8D

Edit: using bahamut's rom too 8D

thx that exactly what they need to do but im thinking why some people get that white screens..... when i was testing it was repair only by copy again my save data and reload but this is different

Don't worry it took me 1 day to found all of this, also try another roms to see if you can run it and save it without problems (use your current saves they don't need any kind of patch)

I tried to get the game working about 3 hours. I had got all type of errors: 2 white screens, 2 black screens, save file disappeared, ...

Then i tried with your saves and it worked! But first I tried all types of save file capacity: 512Kb ~ 64MB.

This is crazy, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Just to you know too: my game is freezing now when I save. And I tried the same process with an R4SDHC and it hasn't worked.
