Hacking Pokemon White 2 freezing at PWT

PWT standing for Pokemon World Tournament, which is one of the in-game events required for you to move on in the story.

Right after I win the battle with my Rival, the announcer then says to turn your attention to the big screen, which it then suddenly freezes up. I've had no problems so far with the game until at that specific moment, and I can't seem to get it working past that point. I've got a fully up-to-date DSTwo cart with a 16 GB MicroSD HC 2. I'm also running this on a 3DS if that helps any. I'd really like to hear any solutions for this problem if possible.

Also I have the US rom, which was apparently patched already with the AP Patch. I don't know if that's whats doing it but I thought I should get the details out there. Also wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.
