Let's say I imported pokemon x and I ran it with smealum's hack.(dem events though) Could I update Japanese x through the cartridge or would I HAVE to get access to the jpn eshop? Is there a way I can do this without importing a Jpn 3ds?
Solution
You can just go into the eShop and manually install the patch, they're region free for all four Pokemon games.
