ROM Hack Pokemon - Trade between saves?

Righty then guys,

Ive been out of the DS Scene for a while, but the 3ds has brought me back

Basically, i have a platinum save, and a soul silver save, both on my DSONE.
is there anyway i can trade between them whilst using the DS?

Is the pokesav DS version able to do this? (save the .pkmn files from one onto my sd,
Load them onto the other game?)

Is any of this possible?

Use Pokemon Platinum pokesav to make a .pkm file. Now use the hg/ss pokesav to insert the .pkm or vice versa.
