QUOTE said:Anyways, we don't care if you've beat it in 22 hour or 122 hours. It's not a competition. At the end of the day, you're playing pokemon... therefore you lose
That's funny, I don't care what you think. I was simply stating that it could be done. No competition necessary, until the battling occurs.
I used around 100~150 Max Repels and Empoleon was the only Pokemon I used to battle the trainers.
QUOTEI care! I'm impressed.

well.. using high powered legendaries in Wi-Fi battles against your friends isnt something special... you should use 'normal' overpowered pokemon to stomp them... thatll be better =Ponce you play another fun game i doubt you can go back to pokemon.
you'll realize how slow it is.
go try panel de pon, or Ouendan 2.
bet you you wont touch pokemon again.
anyways, i done everything in pokemon.. all the sidequests, battled every single trainer.
Caught darkrai, shaymin and arceus too.
done with the E4 obviously and i went around the whole battle island.
clocked in around 90hours
but after i touched another game (panel de pon) i just couldn't go back to pokemon.
too slow.
now i dont even touch it at all.
yea.. i havent played Pokemon in awhile after Etrian Odyssey came out.. i enjoy that a bit more .. o.o
I beat the elite four at 22 hours. I used Empoleon the whole way through. I did all the side quest, caught all the legendaries: heatran, darkrai, shaymin, arceus, giratina, etc. Now I am in the process of raising them up with the proper EV's in order to stomp some people on wi-fi and prove to my friends that I am still better in Pokemon. I am uber dork!![]()

75h and still not beaten the top four? how did you manage THAT? o.O
i beat the game after 30h... okay, havent caught 137 pkmn like you did, i think it was about 50 only, but that was enough. Right after the top four, my sinnoh pokedex was full (seen only) and i received the national one.
I guess the most motivation of playing these games after beating the top four is of course the many legendary pokemon, hidden extras, bonus stuff... and of course the wifi mode, esp. the battle tower! Grr one day im gonna beat 7 of these goddamn human-but-controlled-by-cpu trainers...
Building a team is funat least if you dont cheat. I'll never use pokesav except for getting the things you cant normally get without nintendo activation & for restoring my save file once it gets corrupted, which happened sometimes already.![]()
So all in all, like the three pkmn generations before, i definitely love this one and im not gonna stop soon... you guys definitely need to get more into this oneand to everyone thats saying that pokemon is simple, check out bulbapedia (a great pkmn wiki) -> game mechanics. Its crazy, how each of the 493 monsters got whole different stats, weaknesses, strengths, tm's that can be learned, types....... and to make up your "own" perfect team with which you are able to beat other player's teams (battle tower & wifi!).. thats a damn complex thing and it's fun as hell.![]()
