ROM Hack Pokemon Sun Randomizer?

Well i'm having trouble with randomizing my pokemon sun cci rom. I see many tutorials but in most it goes something like this: They switch the cci file to a 3ds file(which I can do) but then they change the name to something without .3ds in it and it stays a .3ds file. I do that and it goes to a regular file. If you can tell me what i'm doing wrong or post an easier randomizer please do.

CCI and 3DS are the same. The file name shouldn't really matter, I doubt that's what's wrong. Unless the randomizer needs a specific file name then obviously you change it to that name.

On the other hand, if you have a pokemon sun/moon or up cxi rom that'll help
