Don't know what you're talking about because the no outlines patch works fine on my updated SuMo with the v1.1 code.bin ScriesM patcher was updated for v1.1 and the patch it creates for no outlines works perfectly fine. No, outline patches don't work anymore until somebody finds a new way. Patching the code.bin makes it crash.
Huh, wonder why i crash...Don't know what you're talking about because the no outlines patch works fine on my updated SuMo with the v1.1 code.bin ScriesM patcher was updated for v1.1 and the patch it creates for no outlines works perfectly fine.
I dunno, are you using IPS patches renamed as "code.ips" or are you using a IPS patched code.bin? Maybe that matters? I'm using the latter on Luma v6.6 (mine doesn't have the "enable game patches"option)Huh, wonder why i crash...
I manually hex edit my code.binI dunno, are you using IPS patches renamed as "code.ips" or are you using a IPS patched code.bin? Maybe that matters? I'm using the latter on Luma v6.6 (mine doesn't have the "enable game patches"option)
That's probably it, a bad hex edit. I just patched mine with SMPatcher and it's running fine, no outlines.I manually hex edit my code.bin
Then you're not doing it right. The offsets probably changed or something.I manually hex edit my code.bin
They did. Then you're not doing it right. The offsets probably changed or something.
Which is probably the entire reason the old patch doesn't work on 1.1They did.
No. This was about patches that were not edited correctly for the SuMo update and those edits were causing problems.Ok, I gottta ask after seeing this, I just installed A9LH and Luma3DS via the 3DS guide like 2 days before this thread and have not updated my Sun or Moon yet. Does this thread mean that if I update Sun and Moon, I'll get black screened, or is this for something different?
Pretty much....but most if not all have been corrected by now.Question so how exactly would I go about fixing this issue? simply deleting the mod itself?
Ah how would I go about adding the new one? Im not exactly tech savy so is it as simple as it was before? just dropping the new version of No Lines into Luma?Pretty much....but most if not all have been corrected by now.
I think so....I don't use those. So I would just suggest to go back to the thread where you found that patch and check there.Ah how would I go about adding the new one? Im not exactly tech savy so is it as simple as it was before? just dropping the new version of No Lines into Luma?
