Gaming Pokémon SM: Cheated myself into a corner

Playing Pokémon Moon using cheats to walk through walls, I went to the jungle area of the second island early. I picked up the tiny mushroom and fought the Paras long before the grass trial started. After the water and fire trials I returned to the jungle only to find it's a scavenger hunt and one of the items needed is of course, the tiny mushroom. I picked up the other three and the hunt goes on. Oops! That's the risk you take on a cheat-induced sequence break.

Well that game was kind of fun. Not really my jam but it's nice to see the little quality of life improvements the series makes on each iteration.

if you can cheat through walls, try spawning the item into your inventory. THat should solve the issue.

It doesn't go into your inventory, you have like this key item. Plus after you pick up each item there is a cutscene. I didn't get either of those before the trial started.

Restore the save file backup you obviously made before going on your cheat-induced sequence break.

I did the exact same thing (except I beat the Water trial first), but the Tiny Mushroom reappeared in my case. Do you remember where it was? Try riding Stoutland and searching west from the starting point.

I looked up where it was and checked and couldn't find it. I'll give it another try later. I'm not optimistic but I'm glad to hear it worked for you. Be careful!
