Hi! Would it be possible for you to upload a .ips version of the patch, since none of the included files are compatible with Mac?
I don't really know a lot about patching, so if the above is too much effort, just disregard this message :)

Never mind, I got it to work... now I just gotta figure out how to load the save file in OpenEmu...

Also, just wanted to let you know that the game runs pretty well on Mac using DeSmuMe :) It freezes a bit every now and then (not consistently) but as long as one remembers to save often, it isn't the end of the world!

Also, just wanted to let you know that the game runs pretty well on Mac using DeSmuMe :) It freezes a bit every now and then (not consistently) but as long as one remembers to save often, it isn't the end of the world!

About the freezes, I'll let you know if I notice some kinda pattern, otherwise it's just something we've gotta live with, right!? haha Anyway, keep up the good work :)

Hey thanks for going through the trouble in making his hack man. However I noticed how you posted back in August about letting people visit Johto by the end of the year, so being December and all I was wondering how far ate you into regarding such matters?

My other question is if TR events occur or not, because the game will be a bit empty otherwise. Finally what happens if you attempt to challenge the Elite 4, since I don't want to randomly feel like going their in the future without saving in a while.

Since last patch Johto has an EV Training Route, the National Park has a lot of different Pokémon and many legendaries can be caught.
Also, I didn't get what are you meaning with "TR events" and about Elite 4 it had some bugs but I solved them so you can challenge E4 anytime.

Game crashes right at the start for me, as I try to go outside the house. Can you fix that? Otherwise the game isn't playable whatsoever. The save provided is also entirely broken. 8 badges, 0 pokemon, and both no$gba crashes on trying to load the save, and Desmume crashes when trying to open any menu after loading it.

I'm really not sure you even got this working and felt it was releasable.

Since we can now go to the National Park, does that mean we can safety travel anywhere we want in Johto (but the game will simply act like we already completed everything?) Either way, it's good to know that we can fight the E4 properly again.

As for "TR events" I was referring to Team Rocket events that occurred in FR/LG, seeing how they were a huge part of Kanto and all. Before anyone says that creating entire new scripts is impossible for .nds files I must inform you that Drayano has already managed to create an entire Team Rocket mini arc within the Safari Zone in his Sacred Gold hack. Sure it had some intense glitches at first, but still proved possible to mess around with the script files.


Last question (I promise), out of sheer curiosity what features will you put in your next update (if your still going to work on this hack.) If it's meant to be a surprise and I'll wait until your ready.

Off topic, but I find it funny how this game and "Another Mario 3D" (a SM64DS rom hack) are playable with my sdhc cartage, yet Super Smash Bros. Crash isn't compatible? I mean I just brought the new Smash U due to being on sale right now so it doesn't really matter any more, but I always found it odd. Heck everyone I turn people are always shouting out that every single sm64ds rom hack is in-compatible with "Copy r4's" yet worked fine for me. Meh just a rant don't mind me.

The game will work as if you already had 8 badges (Johto ones). The main goal is doing Kanto's journey as you're playing Fire Red/Leaf Green.

About TR events, there are some in Kanto but they are exactly as HGSS ones and I'm not planing a future update. :P

I did a search and I found the Super Smash Bros homebrew. Didn't know there was a fan-made for DS!
