You actually dont *need* emummc, just a modded Switch and atmosphere, but many people do create an emunand to be safe.

did some edizon editing with specific encounters on flight mode to fill up my pokedex (just violet exclusives) and deleted the pokemon right after then back to starting up my switch normally and playing the game.

i'm connected to my wifi but offline on pokemon, i accidently left a hacked pokemon roaming around but quickly killed it..

is that ban-able and will they find out i had an illegal pokemon running around?

Nope just enabled it and it worked. It doesn't break it down to numbers but words for each stat and a overall rating.

Stats are Best (6IV) & Overall Amazing Stats

hmmmm it somehow worked after I rebooted the whole console. weird stuff.
the descriptions are different from GenVIII but it's ok.

Is using edison hacks relatively safe on cfw sysnand?
All the ACNH hacks were safe even for most online play.
Just for trading, not battling or raids.

how to change it to other pokemon?

replace the last 4 digits of the code with the HEX IDs of the pokemon you want, I'm 100% they already updated the first post with encounter codes (or at least the whole list of HEX IDs) of every coded pokemon.
use this as a template:

[Encounter XXXX ]
08000000 03075530 00000000 0000YYYY

on that replce XXXX with the pokemon Name and YYYY with it's HEX ID, for example let's say I want Gastly, it's ID is 005C, thus it's code is:

with the code active, there should be 3 options instead of 2 when pressing the + Button, it changes between
1 - Data
2 - Judge
3 - View Pokemon
i can't test if the code fully works, because i already finished the game and unlocked it normally, but this is how it should look like:

Does the Oval Charm actually work, especially if there's no way to acquire it through normal gameplay? Also, is the shiny charm confirmed to work if acquired through the encounter item code?
