Hey every time i try to connect to wifi on my m3real on pokemon diamond the game freezes could this be a bad rom or something with my m3?

Probably bad rom as I have not heard any wifi problems so far. Only DL play problems. Try a different dump or perhaps dump your own cart to be safe.

sadly my cart got stolen but ill try getting a new dl

Update: oddly enough now it works. weird. now one thing i notice is when it froze on me and did not work i had a gba game loaded 2. this could be the problem.

Out of curiosity, what does starting with the Y button actually do? I had a look in the manual but couldn't find any mention of it.

When you start a game with the Y button it enables download play in that game.

Yeah, but it seems to fix Pokemon too! And that one doesn't even use Download Play...

I suppose it fixes communication related protocols usually used by Download Play, but in this case Wifi too
