Gaming Pokemon Platinum problem on R4DS

I tried about 2 different versions of Pokemon Platinum (both usa). When I open the game it loads fine, but after i turn off the DS, then try to run Pokemon Platinum a 2nd time around the game freezes at loading. I tried to find the problem by deleteing the game and copying from my harddrive to the r4 again. This does the same problem; runs once, after i turn off the game even if i saved it, it would not run a 2nd time around after a DS restart.
EDIT: using r4 kernel 1.18 i belive thats the number (basically using the latest)

I'm using a R4 too and I haven't had that problem.

I would just change your firmware to YSMenu dude. It worked wonders for me. If not try coping everything off your MicroSD card,formatting it and then doing a refresh install of 1.18 and then copying your games back on.
