I would like to ask you all about Pokemon Platinum...
What is PKRS???!!!
It appear on the summary of my Pokemon and beside the lvl....

Anyone can tell me????

I think it speeds up the levelling of your pokeymons, or something like that.

Why not just Google it?

It's a beneficial status that only lasts a few days and promotes strong growth (faster gain of EVs or effort values).

The pokémon games have a hidden mechanic system called "EVs"
When you feed a pokémon a vitamin, it gains 10 EVs for that stat.
When you defeat another pokémon, it gains EVs depending on what you KO'd

Basically, EVs add up and make your pokémon stronger in certain stats, PKRS doubles the amount of EVs you earn in battle.
It's purely beneficial, I recommend that you infect your entire team with it, and even some other pokémon to keep in your box.

PKRS will go away eventually, and the effects are permanent, but once it's gone the infection won't spread anymore, that's why you want to keep some infected pokémon in PC boxes.

The only problem with it is it makes them unhappy

the only downside apart from making your pokemon unhappy is that if your friends see the pokerus at the same time as level 100 pokemon they
usually get pretty unhappy coz its like "cheating"

so leave some unused pkmn in the pc with it and get it off you main pokemon fast to stop the dramas

It's random. Lucky if you get one of your 'mons get it. Doubled EV points = lesser training time.

Only downside is, once that 'mon is "healed" of the PKRS status, he / she won't get it again.

You don't really "put", its more like you go to the counter and request to deposit it there and trade with others.... But you must have wifi, you should trade and help ppl get pkrs

Go to Jubilife it's in the bottom right of the city, connect to it via wi-fi and start trading, if my wifi was working I'd get a PKRS poke off you alas :/.

I put one of my pokemon that affected PKRS in my party...
And put 5 pokemon that NOT affected PKRS...
and go to battle with wild pokemon....
It can spread it...
1/3 chance(i heard from others)
