Gaming pokemon platinum gts problem

hi well this is my problem, i found a turtwig in the gts and the offerer wants a gyarados which i have, but when i want to select my gyarados it is dark-grey and i can't press on it so i can't trade it. does anyone know if this is some kind of a bug or glitch.

did you check if the level and sex of your gyarados is just like the owner of turtwig wants?

It has to match what they're asking for. Obviously they don't want what you have to offer. But if you PM me, I can breed you a Turtwig egg.

the problem is, it only show's the gender but not the level requested for example it shows the requested pokemon like this: gyarados and next to it is the gender and then it says nothing about the level

Already bred him one, lol. And yea, GTS should be more clear with what people are looking for. But even if it were more detailed; I would just seek out trade boards, instead of dealing with GTS.
