Gaming pokemon platinum direct question

i remember that pokemon diamond and pearl had a editor to where you can choose which pokemons, levels, items you have via your save game.

is there such a program for platinum? or does the diamon/pearl one work for platinum too?

not sure if I can mention it but I've been editing my platinum with a different version of the same editor. I use that instead of cheat.

anyway, it has o be different from DP.

i may be blind, but i thought that was for pearl/diamond only.

so it works for platinum too?

i'm just wanting my starter pokemon to be my favorite (Treecko), going to start it at lvl 1

sorry, but it isn't working.
i savedthe game right after getting my first pokemon, and the editor is not detecting my pokemon, my char's, name, my rival's name, nothing.

any idea why it might?

you might downloaded the wrong pokesav. download the newer version for platinum only. there are two platinum pokesave. download the one that's made for the english version. though both are compatible to each other
