Is there a way to get charmander or squirtle legit without getting in trouble with a ban? I started to play the game now, I like only the 1st gen.

Yes, you can through pkhex or through trading if you really want them legit (even though traded pokemon may be pkhexed too). No, you won't get banned unless they don't pass the pkhex legality check and you use them online (though even that has a really small chance of occuring).

Thanks for the answers, I dont think someone would trade as i just started now the game. The solution could be bank, I see if i can get it. I saw pkhex but im not sure if i can make it legit. Or i just play the game

if you know the mechanism... you are safe with pkhex, but if you are a noob to pkhex, please get to know the legitimacy detection first
