Hacking Pokémon OR Eon Ticket Save (Directly redeemed!)

Long story short, somebody I know who lives in China attended an event in Hong Kong where they were handing out Eon Ticket codes, and he got me one. These are the only known region-free codes, the Japanese ones only work on Japanese 3DSes, and the other ones are next to impossible to get.

I went ahead and redeemed this on my Gateway, using a dump of OmegaRuby that has a valid online header. Using the magic of SaveDataFiler, I also created a save that has the data, but does not require a header or the .3DZ format. (You won't be able to go online afterwards, though)

Note that it was taken from my retail copy of Pokémon X, and while it works great in X, for Y and OR/AS, it will give the "online services are unavailable on this card" error unless you change the manufacturer to Macronix. I would change it myself, but it does work on X and that's the data Gateway gave me. It will work fine with or without Macronix just for using the save file though, you just won't be able to go online again.

For those wondering, just injecting the wondercard isn't what triggers it the events, but fear not, the next version of PKHeX out tomorrow will be able to set the data properly.

"StreetPassed onto it" is not the same as "acting as the one who can streetpass others", last I checked.

And yes, I have the "master save" which is what I use when redeeming events, then all I did was redeemed it. You could get the wondercard by comparing the two saves, if you wanted. Should I upload the master save?

You're spot on. The community save was just a stopgap until some selfless champion such as yourself delivered us the real deal. I for one appreciate your contribution.

I already donated the actual wondercard..
The community save could streetpass to others, if I'm not wrong.

Anyhow, Extras are always preferred.

Well, I literally *just* redeemed it. I actually don't know if I'm far enough in the game yet to enable StreetPass

In fact, I'm almost positive I'm not. Well, either way, I thought this might be of some interest since I have my language set to English and the other Wonder Cards would no doubt be Japanese.

Pokemon X shouldn't have this feature yes? I think it was OR /AS only?
I got a copy of Pokemon X and Omega Ruby but haven't started playing yet.

Is this something worth looking into before I create a save. Or will it be addable after I start a new save?

Yes, it's just for OR/AS.

But for consistency, I dumped the retail key from my copy of X and use it for all events, whether X, Y, OR or AS. It works with all of them.

The thing you need to play online? They're unique headers found in retail games. Most pirates are just using ones shared by other gbatemp members, but for legitimacy I got my own from my copy of the game.

Ah I see. We usually call it the cartridge ID.
I use the one from my Luigi's Mansion cart and it works for all games... Smash, Pokemon, RE Revelations

How can I obtain this using a retail copy of Alpha Sapphire except StreetPassing (There are not many people here playing Pokemon)
