Hacking Pokemon OR/AS save transfer between different versions?

Hello. I am sorry if this question has been answered before but I couldn't find it. I have started the US version of Pokemon Omega Ruby and I want to play the European now that it is out. I want to transfer the save from the (U) .3ds to the other one. Can this be done? Also I had used mystery gift to receive the shiny beldum. Will this mess up anything?

First you need to install the SaveDataFiler cia.
Next load your Pkmn ORAS US version from the gateway menu.
Open up SaveDataFiler and make sure CRT Card is selected in the USER tab menu that's showing, press Y to export save, then A to confirm.
Close SaveDataFiler. Load your Pkmn ORAS EU version from the gateway menu.
Open up SaveDataFiler and go to the SD tab, select your exported save (it has timestamps so easy to find) then import to crt card (L+A then A to confirm)

Pokemon OR is named 000011c4 and AS is 000011c5, for all versions (US/JPN/EUR)

I don't think version switching is necessary, I seem to be able to download the patches/updates on an EU 3DS, despite playing on a Japanese Omega Ruby copy.

Just extract and inject. No need of decrypting the savefiles.
