ROM Hack Pokemon Moon Save File Help

Yesterday I downloaded the official version of Pokemon Moon off of the eshop. I tried to transfer my data from the .cia file I had to the official version using SavaDataFiler.
However, when I tried to start up the game, I got an error saying "save data not compatible with this version."
While I'm pretty sure this is caused by the fact that the .cia was version 0, and the official release is version 16, I'm not sure how to fix it.
If anyone could give me any help that would be great,

Is there a way to delete the data I just put in? I'll try this as well if I can
