Either wait for about a minute or two after it freezes when talking to Laventon or try the pkhex fix I posted a while back. If you can't get it working PM me your save and I'll see if I can fix it.
It actually freezes for a sec then the game crashes and exits out. I searched for it..... and it WORKED!!!! Thank you! I guess one should only use the spawn pokemon cheat if you have already unlocked the area where they spawn and not before.
I just checked the code. Yes the version you quoted does add 5 instead of 100.
I didn't realise it had been grabbed from the custom request post, rather than my initial release post.
If you want it to add 100, change all of the "11001522" in the on code, to "11019122"
Edit: I have edited my update post to reflect the changes, as it was always supposed to add 100.

Fixed an issue where certain conditions would prevent players from obtaining the Shiny Charm even if they met the requirements. After updating the game, players who experienced this issue can obtain the Shiny Charm by speaking with Professor Laventon inside Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village provided they meet the requirements.
