How do you apply the patch on a mac. I know about the patcher for mac but that only works translation patches.

Just download it, download the rom, extract the patch and rom, drag the rom directly onto the patch and it will patch it.

I am not sure about Mac, I don't even know how to do it on Linux. My only advice is to look around the forums to see if anyone knows how to or make a topic about it so you can get better answers.

I quickly turned Rudolph's patch into a bsdiff patch. I've tested it once successfully (by which, I mean the SHA-1s matched up

).

You'll need an (untrimmed) HeartGold (U) ROM and bspatch (comes with every *nix system I think... I know Macs come with it). Theoretically this should work with Xenophobia's release too (I used my own dump).

if you wanna do it in linux use wine, its a windows emulator runs most programs quite well
