Hacking Pokemon Emerald and Ruby

Just got my gba exp today since i had a m3 real already decided to git it and aint had any problems with it till i tired playing these 2 games.They both start up but after the 1st screen they freeze.Maybe a bad rom or do i need to do something for them to play right?

Also how do you use the rts on games cause i enable it but idk how to use it xD

i believe those need both a clock fix and a save(sram) patch to work properly.
although emerald currently doesn't have a clock fix.

I have the same card as you also have an GBA expansion.
Well the prob is that you downloaded a bad rom 100% sure.
You dont need to patch something. Just download on a other site

Cause it worked for me the first time I used the GBA Expansion.

Only Do you know where I can get the cheats for the GBA Expansion pack??

Ok i will try another rom for both but does anyone know how the rts works on the gba pack? What do you do to use it?

NVM was looking through their site and found it and anyone else needing to know

Steps:
======
1. Make sure the "gba expansion pak" has been inserted.
2. Select the "enable" from the "instant save" option after selecting the game.
3. Press "A+B+L+R" while playing the game to call "instant save menu".

Most, if not all, flash carts or expansion packs lack proper support for 1Mbit (128 kilobyte) save files in GBA games.

Even those that do larger DS saves perfectly. So you'll often need to patch GBA games that use a 1Mbit save.

Titles that may be affected include:
Super Mario Advance 4
F-Zero Climax
Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Firered/Leafgreen/Emerald
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (US/EU only, JP version uses a different type)

NVM got it to working by downloading the rom from a different site and it works fine now

Few other games are like that though like Dragonball Z Lec of Goku 1 and that Robotpon 2 (the ripoff of pokemon game) Anyone know how to git the dbz game to working it says cant be used on this hardware.
