Oh wow
I got Pokemon White to work on my R4i Gold!
Simply updated the firmware from the right website, i was looking at a different site before

No problems so far

What firmware and from what website?

What steps did you go through to get it to work? I have a R4i Gold and I can't get it to work :/

Hmm there are different R4i golds though, but the website for mine is R4ids.cn
The one i went to before that was R4ids.com
Before you upgrade your firmware make sure you make a backup of the system files on your micro SD

but guess most of you know that.
but my sis's R4 wood C-gear still wont work, any fix for that? (she has exp and no freezes though, so the patch worked).

Works on EDGE 1.11 but there is a problem with the sound.

I have the same problem as her. If I were her I wouldn't use it.

played 2 and a half hour with the patch

It only freezed when i had the c-gear so i just turned it off and its working fine now

When you talk the first option is 'Yes' the second is 'No' first but then in the second question select 'yes' and you can continue the game with no freeze.
I apologise if i'm wrong or make no sense, this is just what I read I am not myself up to that part yet.

I meant a patch so it works on the R4i Gold

It's working on AK2i on the latest AKAIO and everything but no EXP...probably as everyone knows.

You need the patch for it to work.

Does anyone have any problems after you go to the daycare and battle the rival? I get a black screen with Japanese writing on the top screen and music in the background.
