What I meant is when people talk about getting the games earlier and dumping they either refer to the USA or JPN. The other countries are mostly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things as they don't generate nearly the same amount of hype.

That is pretty much true for all video games and releasing. Popularity is irrelevant (but you can't say that about Pokemon I guess without a cross comment lol).

there are times when a game has been released in the Eur region before the US region... making the US release "irrelevant in the grand scheme"

I prefer the feel of Black City / Black Tower. And my main copy is (will be was when I get my Black 2) Black.

Everyone seems to play the first one named in the paired games Red in Red and Blue, Ruby in Ruby and Sapphire, Diamond in Diamond and Pearl and Black in Black and White. Only exception seems to be Silver from Gold and Silver...
