Im having issues with freezing after going into pokemon selection screen and backing out of it. Using a dstwo. I tried a clean rom (marked clean anyways) from a popular rom site. However it wont run in clean mode only patched.

You need to patch the rom.

Get the clean rom and ap patch it using ds scene. If you want a guide, scroll through the last 50 pages

If you're so peeved about it, why don't you do something about it? Pick up a better flashcart. It's what happens when you buy a cheap flashcard, you end up with the poorer quality of releases and updates.

I thought you said you got it working? The only way to play it perfectly as of now is to replace the narc files of the English ROM with the Japanese one using tink. But I would rather wait until a new firmware update is compatible with the ROM.

I got mine working on the R4I SDHC 3DS by just simply playing it on Desmume until I reached Floccesy Ranch then I saved, I then put the sav on to my flashcart and that solved the save freeze problem!!!
