Misc Pokemon Battle Spot Connection Issues?

i have omega ruby(physical cart) and alpha sapphire (eshop downloaded version). for some reason matchmaker takes very long or fails to find me matches on my omega ruby version. but on alpha sapphire it finds me matches very easily and 90% of the time doesn't give me any issues. this is one battle spot randoms btw


additional info:
this is on OLD 3ds XL, running OOT3d Hax homebrew

i have used pkhex on both save files and power saves on the omega ruby version.

anyone know the cause of no matches or barely any matches being found on omega ruby?? anyone else have a problem like this??

i dunno man what's going on.

i am doing quick test right now on alpha sapphire. where i do battle spot free doubles battle. i am able to get into matches within 1min at most. sometimes instant. then i forfeit first turn, rinse and repeated this like 10 times. mean while on omega ruby, sometimes it takes half an hour of continuous trying to find a match.

my suspicion is either something wrong with save file omega ruby which messed with wifi(probably causing packet loss) or a hidden rating system in free battles(i have never battled anyone before these tests on alpha sapphire)
