Gaming Pokemon B&W2 region lock question

Hey,

i ordered an US pokemon white 2 b4 i got the 3ds..turns out its PAL XD

anyway i've been searching the net for days now to get an answer:

will us white 2 work on pal 3ds? from what i found on the net- some say yes and some say no

so please if any1 knows from experience(tried it or eu w\b2 on us 3ds) please help me

the Official Game will try and boot in DSi Enhanced mode
DSi Mode is region locked

i cant remember is the USA release was Region U or Region O
(last letter of the 4 digit code on the card being is region)
IRDO is White 2 region free

is it possible that there are IRDO and IRDU in the market or they all the same?

As far as I know, both Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 are EUSA, meaning the carts should work both in Europe and the U.S. Also, no such thing as PAL/NTSC games/handhelds unless you see a TV Out somewhere, the regions are EUR, USA, JAP, KOR etc.
