ROM Hack Pokemon B/W AP Discussion Thread

Could I get some help? The patch works perfectly on my R4, and I didn't even experience freezing or anything so far.

But on my brother's card, I can't even load the game. His cartridge is different from mine - it's also an R4 revolution, the only difference between ours is that his says "SDHC" on it. He's using different firmware for it than I am (Wood doesn't run on it, for some reason), I can't for the life of me remember which one it was but I could get a screenshot or something.

Does anyone know which firmware could work for his flashcart, or what could I try to get Pokémon Black running on it? Thanks in advance!

Too bad the patch didn't get updated while I was still awake last night. I even went through massive amounts of trouble to patch the game on my friend's Mac while I was at his house earlier. On the plus side, I guess I don't really need to update to Wood R4 v1.26 yet.

Using a DSTT with WOODTT. Ive applied the patch but each game hangs on a black screen after the initial conversation with Professor Juniper. Is there a way around this yet?

I updated files. Now i get load rom errcode=-5

errcode=-5 : Caused by not having the required loading data for that particular DSi-Enhanced game in infolib and also caused by not having the latest ttpatch.dat/r4patch.dat/m3patch.dat in the TTMenu folder (file depends on which cart you are using).

Well, at least, it loads the rom. Don't know if the freezes still happen.

Just copy and format your card. That fixes err code=5.

I have tested all (E), (F), (G) and (S) clean versions and they all gain EXP with v6.52

Also, I have updated the EXP AP Patch for the German version and corrected the Spanish Black version.

Okay, the clean rom works with RGF's folders, I can gain exp on (F) White Version. No freezes for the moment.

I'm not sure where the Union Room AP is supposed to kick in but I can enter it and run around the room just fine on my M3 Simply running Wood 1.26. I can't test any trading though as I only have one DS.

Nope, I tried that one and it doesn't load. It's www.r4ultra.com, supposedly, or at least that's what's printed on the cartridge.
