You could still do what I said. But I actually think his spread is better. 252 HP is normally better than split defenses, since it also makes you more resistant to set damage moves and allows for better substitutes, if you want to use that.

I plan on using substitute with it, so it could work fine having tons of HP.

He gens them in Gen 5 (directly, not through the use od any GTS service), and then Transports them to X/Y.

You can use an Action Replay, or a save backup tool if you're using a real Game Card. If you have a flashcard ("an R4", or any other), you can edit the save directly. You have to trade the Pokémon to an original game before you can use Bank, in that case, though.

You can only transfer pokémons from gen 5 to gen 6 by using pokébank and pokétransfer.
