This is sooo coool. I just want to look at the pokemons in 3d xD. i hope nintendo finds a way to us AR without those cards.i rarely carry them around and when i want to use AR i dont have it with me. the NGP doing AR without a card is pretty awesome.

I believe you need to pay for reality fighters... It's a full game using AR.

The others i'm not sure. I hope some AR for the NGP is free as well.

But it's really a smart move of Nintendo, promoting free AR (or rather included in the $250 'package')

anyways. i think these pokemon won't have movements---more like just a frozen model. i thought it would have movements from the snivy pictures but it was just a different camera angle.

And yes, the AR is likely to be stationary. However, who knows? Not a lot of information is being revealed yet, hence expect to see more.

Exactly. Plus, for free, that Pokedex has a lot of features. Also, now they have viable graphics that can be used in the next game (similar to how they reused Pokemon Ranch Graphics for Pokemon Rumble), I wonder...

This is cool, and, actually, it's confirmation that Nintendo has produced 3D models of all current pokémon now.

Spotpass and Streetpass are not relevant in the area I live so far.
Streetpass and Spotpass needs to be used wayyyy more.

Even in 3D Oshawott cannot look good. Dewott is the most imrpoved evolution of a Pokemon looks wise I have ever seen.

Pretty sure you can also use SpotPass (so you can just do that every day if you have a WiFi connection).

Anyone have one of those actual Pokedex toys as a kid? I think I still have on in a bin of memorabilia. That thing kicked ass though, if you had one, you were the motherfuckin' pimp amongst your friends.
