Gif animation maybe... (if mplayer supports it and I can get mplayer stuff without glitches)
Entering settings may be possible but why would you want it?

saves getting up and holding reset

and we are getting some black screens on some pal games when using force disc region so it needs to be switched on and off

I think he's talking about the settings for preloader. That would be a nice feature.

-btw- I found a bug (don't know if that was posted before):

Everytime I turn on the Wii, the last remote that was the first one, is again the first one.
Same for the second, third and so one. I'm just able to skip poc launcher by pressing A with the FIRST remote.
Every person here has it's own remote, so that's a big bug for me.

This does not happen when I use preloader w/o poc launcher.
But: If I wait for completing intro-music, I am able to register the remotes as I want.

Hmm, preloader settings... That could probably be possible...

@D-jay : yeah I noticed the bug.. but I thought it's a preloader bug... when it occured to me I had to use my gc controller since even preloader didn't sync any of my wiimotes...(battery cycle stuff) I'll investigate the matter...

D-jay is your wii power off or standby? it could be that its holding the setting or something

6666666666666666666666666666666No, it's power-off (by pressing long the remote's power-off button).
Stand-By doesn't work anymore since I use Preloader 0.27. But that's ok for me.

I tried several steps to solve this issue without any success.


I tested it again and again:

I take my daughter's remote. This was the third one the last time we played.
Press "On" on the remote, Wii turns on, poc launcher is loading, remote synced at third device.
I'm not able to press "A" to skip intro. When systemmenu is loading, remote sync as third device again.

If I use MY remote (was the first one), everything works, I can skip and use it as the first device.


Okay... now I do it again but wait for ending the intro.
My daughters remote is the third device during the intro-loading.
After that, the system-menu appears and I press my daughter's remote again. And it works like a charm as the first device...


EDIT:
Btw... I did the following and it works:

Turning on Wii
The last remote I used as first device, synced again as the first.
I press A on it and QUICKLY press any button again and again on the remote I want to use as the first one between ending poc launcher and loading system-menu. It works.

Not the best way but at least I can use every remote I want to use as first device.

Maybe the best way will be fresh sync on turning on the Wii when poc launcher runs so every remote synced well and you can press A on the first one.

It's really very simple with CrazyIntro, thank you very much, but I have a problem, I have a TV 16 / 9 (81cm) and the background image does not meet all of my TV screen, you have a solution?

Otherwise in the next update I have seen that would support Avi file (it's great) but what is a slideshow of images will be on the agenda too? and that will bring you more in the next update from the button A and B?

No I am not a child ^ ^ but even with a 640x456 image I always see a problem for my entire picture on my TV.

Edit: I try with 670x456 resolution but the edges of my screen is the same, sorry for the inconvenience

Yup, there will be a configuration screen say you'll pop into if you press home button or something... then you will be able to configure the stuff you'll use... whether you want effect into the picture or so... whether you want to use video or picture and so on...

Of course this is all in the idea level... I need to get back to home to do actual development...

ps: for video stuff I'm playing with the mplayerwii... so whatever you can play with mplayerwii, you should be able to play with this too... but I don't make a promise as to making a video playback without glitches... most of the video code is already precompiled in the mplayerwii so there is little room for customization... (though mplayer has some switches I guess...)
