Please help me, my R4i Advance save the games, but after powering off the DSi, the saves get corrupted! Is there any solution?

I thought that the Pokemon roms like Pearl, Diamond and Platinum are corrupting its own saves and the others saves. But I formatted the SD (4GB) and excluded these roms, and I'm getting the same problem. I've tried to use a 512MB card and it saves without corrupting. So I think that I'm using this card... the problem is the space...
