Hacking Please help. Just formatted my sd card. How do I start all over?

My sd card is corrupted so I formatted it to fat32 but I can't seem to figure out how to even make a system start after try searching for hours. When I start my 3ds it said " Failed to apply 1 firm patch" and I can start godmode9 without sd card if it's mean anything. I don't even know that I use b9s or a9lh but I think I have b9s because last time my 3ds system can run a new version of Luma.


English is not my first language and technical stuff confusing me.

I have luma 9.0 in my 3ds. I tried to update luma by replacing boot file and nothing change it still come up as version 9.0. I don't have to insert sd card to boot luma so maybe it is my sd card problem but it can't be that because godmode9 can detect my sd card.

This means the boot.firm on the SD is not found (for whatever reason) and it uses the failsafe boot.firm on the internal NAND (which is unfortunately too old).

You said your SD was corrupted. Before trusting it again check and prepare it according to this post (the CFW starter kit contains all you need and probably more). If you get any errors in the check, do not use the SD anymore.

If you have another SD at hand for a quick check, format it FAT32, 32kb cluster size and put latest boot.firm on the second card and try again.

Version 9.0 of Luma means you are using (probably the latest) version of B9S (→good).

Are you sure the SD card is not bad? You can run Check Disk on it, or do what @KleinesSinchen suggested.
