Misc Playing online with Backups?

Does anyone actually play any online game with a backup version of the game, Is there any sort of banning or suspension to the console?
Is it safe?

There's no way of Nintendo finding out if its a backup or the original disc so you won't be banned or suspended.

Wii and DS backups play online with no problem.

Ah alright, PS3 online is just :S atm with the Game-ID and such. Which lead me to think if the WII is the same.

I play my backup games online all the time..

These games include:

i) Mario Kart Wii
ii) Worms: Battle Islands

That depends on the type of ban. Just don't cheat online. Cheat offline if you want, but don't ruin it for the rest of us. And to the original question, Nintendo has no way of telling whether you're using a legit disc or not, they can only detect the cheating. I play online via WiiFlow all the time.

i play online too with CFG,and no problems,i've been playing online with backups on the wii about 2 years ago,and no prob,only ps3 and 360
