I personally won't purchase a touchscreen TV/Monitor for the sake of playing of one but would this really work or the touchscreen-ness is exclusive to GamePad completely?

Technically speaking it's possible but for the public it may never be a thing.Lol yes the touch screen function is only on the gamepad.
Touchscreen TVs/Monitors exist, yeah. ~ http://www.beetronics.co.uk/15-inch-touchscreen-with-hdmi?gclid=CKHQ5buFmMoCFQQUwwodrFMD3wThey make touchscreen TVs? o.O
Or maybe hardmod the GamePad to said touchscreen TV? Suppose this would work. How would you let the Wii U know if you clicked on the screen? And where on the screen?
Maybe you could make it possible by simulating the wiimote, that when you touch the screen, you clicked the A button on the wiimote.

Or you emulate it with a pc and use the screen as output and input with something like this

The wii u actually does support 2 gamepads just the games don'tBut then you need 2 gamepads right? But the Wii U only supports one.
So when you don't wanna use the TV you first need to unconnect the TV screen and reconfigure the normal gamepad
That is not very efficient.

You can't. The Wii U system and games support only one. You can't register 2 Gamepads on one Wii

Well the hardware can run it but the software cant, not even the OS.So what happens if you connect two gamepads in games ? Does it drop the second one out or what does it display ? What about vWii ?

I think saiyan just wanted to know whether or not it was possible which it is.Technical impossibilities aside, I doubt anyone will want to play Kirby while standing directly in front of their television, making very wide movements that tire out the entire arm, smear the screen and probably make the television tumble backwards the moment you attempt to doubleclick something while under pressure.![]()
I know, but that part was already answered. And for the record: you're wrong. the wiiu doesn't detect the input on the touchscreen in any way, so the touch-part of the game (which is basically everything) is exclusive to the touchpad.I think saiyan just wanted to know whether or not it was possible which it is.
