Hacking Playing GameCube backups on Wii?

Hi everyone.
Today i orded a Gamecube controller and a 64mb memory card for playing some gamecube backups on my Wii with WiiKey 1.9g.

I wanted to try a game before i get the controller and that just to see if it works.

And when i press play i just get a black screen

Could the fact be that i need to use the GCOS multidisc tool to play them?

Nope not at all, I only have a couple of GC games for my wii (backups) which work fine.

The one time that I got a black screen was because the Gamecube backup was PAL and I have an NTSC console.

Is that possibly the problem? Try a different iso, there's no reason why gamecube backups shouldn't work with the wiikey.

Ive tried 2 isos.
One NTSC one PAL.
Niether displays ANYTHING.

you have to use wiikey's config disc to overrun region protection first + audio fix.

Try using GCOS to boot yor disc just select autodetect (press A) in the region selection
It works for me everytime. (using pal wii tryed jap and ntsc games).

Please read the thread before posting...
I said that i havn't got the controller and that jet so i would only try to see if it did work.

But in 1 week or something ill got the GC Controller.
