Homebrew Playing a DS game on a 3DS

Alright, so I've been playing Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations on my phone using and emulator and a DS rom. I got cfw for my 3ds yesterday and I was wondering if I could use the save file on my phone to continue where I left off on my 3ds. Could I do that?

Do you know how I could go about doing that? If I used a DS emulator, would the save file be saved on the SD Card?
