I know that with DS Emulators, you can easily just hook up your computer to display it on a TV or somethin', unless you've got a big ass monitor.

But, I was wondering, since there aren't emulators for the 3DS (Yet), is there a way to play games on a bigger display? I know that sounds kind of "way out there," but I'm just curious. I know the screen is bigger compared to the DS, but is it possible? I mean, we had the Super Gameboy for the SNES, and the GBA Adapter for the Gamecube. So, why not a DS display for the Wii/Wii U?

I remember that GBA gamecube plugin that let you play GBA games through a gamecube...
best ever.

They need that for 3DS games.

Solution: HARDWARE MODDING

Yeah, it would require you to convert the video stream going to the 3DS's screen(s) to something a monitor or tv would understand. In other words, pretty much impossible. ;)
No, hardware modding.
Get a bigger 3D screen, and..
Convert the video stream to something those can recognize.. xD
But it'd be possible for someone to make a 3DS XL, methinks.

They had a Super Gameboy for the GBA!? WHY DID I SELL BOTH :(

edit- both my GBA and GC
Gameboy player, it was this black box you hooked up at the bottom of the gamecube and you put in the start up disc and bam gba on the bigscreen with gc controller. I actually bought a gameboy player just to play mario and luigi superstar saga. It was worth it.

Totally worth it. Mine was platinum, I imported it from Japan for my PAL platinum console, then contacted Ninty and told them I'd lost the disc. They sent me a replacement and it worked great  Ironically, I've lost the replacement disc, though

Solution: HARDWARE MODDING
There is some progress being made on the hardware modding side:

I believe the text says something like (and I could be completely wrong):
Only the bottom screen for now. An engineer/hacking genius position is open to work on the top screen!

I have no idea how the hardware modding for the top screen is going... but someone should get this guy working with them!

I know that the next Smash Bros. supposedly will have both 3DS and Wii-U versions, and that there would be some form of connectivity between the two. So who knows? Sounds possible to me.
