Hacking Planning on getting a switch should i get it now or wait

My advice would've been to get a 3.60 Vita instead. Fantastic emulators and way better controls than a Switch for them. As an added bonus you could use it right now instead of waiting upto a year for homebrew.

So a question just popped in to my head but if it does come at a low firmware do games update it when launched and if so which games would update it to 3.0 wondering of its like 3ds where specific games can update the system to specific versions

Well i already have a vita with all the good stuff on it just wanted something a bit newer played through most of the games i could on it as well without update past 3.60 which cut me off from a few games i wanted like fate extella and a few others ive repressed due how sad id be if i remembered them all.

Currently waiting for the ability to spoof the firmware to later versions to play newer games so its in my closet till then. I love the thing just ran out of use for it right now. Been jogging between my 3ds and wiiu both games and emulators on them to pass the time till the next big psv update.

I recommend you wait until it gets hacked so I can justify selling one for $600

I wouldn't bank on emulators coming out in the next few months. People have interpreted a few quotes in the hacking scene from recent progress made, from the words "will lead to homebrew eventually". If your wanting a switch go for it! But buckle your seatbelt, because its probably going to be a Zelda machine for a long time, if you don't intend to update.

If you just want to emulate portably, Android GPD XD is good. Pretty sure its custom built for emulation.
