Hey guys I'm downgrading my first new 3ds xl to 2.1 but i noticed that plailect's guide no longer tells you to unbrick emunand before backing up and injecting emunand to sysnand. Should i still do it as a precaution or is it not necessary anymore?

the One Click Setup automatically unbricks it for you if you're on a new 3ds
I notice in the downgrading section it doesn't have the part that says N3DS JP users need to delete a specific cia to avoid a brick like every other guide.
Has the offending cia already been removed from the 9.2 JP downgrade cia pack? Is it safe to just use it as is?

Because if you followed part 3 you were still in decrypt9.
EDIT: Nevermind, seems like a mistake on @Plailect's part

@SylverReZ find me ONE community that is free of drama and politics. even video games forums (like this one) have politics section. and for some reason gamers still take consoles/brands wars seriously. even as a kid i never took the console wars bait despite being a nintendo kid. -

as about forums, when i recently revisited some old forums i used to be regular and seeing how immature most members still are i was like "Yeap. Nothing of value has been lost.". Unfortunately it's the good, comfy forums that ended up dead or shut down, especially because of internet centralization.
