Hey there. I recall around half a year, someone made a post about Piracy. Within the post, (as I remember it,) actually had each law concerning ROM's, and backups. I recall the poster actually reading through the laws, and talking about them, showing what rumors are true, and which aren't.

So, basically, I'm still looking for the thread. I've been trying the search engine, though obviously to not much success. Does anyone remember this thread, or is this a hopeless search? xP.

Intellectual property law is a mess of law though (got a nice exam in a few hours time on the subject).

There was also a post on http://www.tweakguides.com/ a little while back on PC piracy, I would almost the author of under examining/glossing over some of the "piracy" arguments but the first few pages are fairly solid.
