ROM Hack PIN

Hi!

I've bought recently a DSi, but the reseller doesn't know the pin code.
How to reset the pin or check it?

I've heard that taking of the battery resets only the clock and the formating is locked for me ,because of the Parental Controls.
The reset code generator doesn't work for me.
What's wrong? I'm in CET timezone and have a DSi with 1.2E with language set to German. Could one of this thing cause the trouble.

The battery only resets the clock? It resets ALL settings on the DS.

I don't have a screwdriver like this. I would really like to get the master reset code. Does anyone know why the generator doesn't work for me?
BTW Now i'm guessing the pin from 9999 to 0000. I'm resetting it every 2 times. I'm at 9800.

The battery only resets the clock? It resets ALL settings on the DS.

That's for the DS. You're forgetting the DSi has internal storage.

Why? The generator probably doesn't work because the date on your DS is incorrect, or you're not entering the right date on the generator page. The code's only supposed to work for 24 hours.

IF you want clearer instructions:
1. Make sure the internal clock is accurate.
2. Go to the parental controls settings.
3. Touch "I forget"
4. Touch "I forget" again.
5. There should be a confirmation number on the screen. Enter it at http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi. Make sure the date on the website matches the date on your DSi.
6. Hit "Next" on the DSi, enter the master reset code given by the website.
7. It should reset.
