Hacking PimpMyWii stops at testing IOS22

Hi there.

As written above... started PimpMyWii to correct a problem the Wii s not playing all original Game-DVD's.

Started PimpMyWii and it freezes with: "Testing IOS 22 v1037 (19/26)"
Doesn't matter only do the testing or manually or other options. Freezes everytime with IOS22

Any idea ?

Remove your HDD/USB drive and any GC pads or mem cards.

This program didnt work for me too so I stopped trying it and did all manually. BTW, its better to know what exactly happens to your Wii... So just do it yourself.

Ok, doing it manually isn't a big problem, if anyone can tell me what to do...

My problem is following mentioned in the readme of PMW:

- Black screen at loading of dvd games :
Missing IOS -> Install those IOS (patching them)

Any suggestion ?

I know I should not say that...but : just stop using PimpMyWii....
Keep it simple: BannerBomb -> Hackmii Installer -> TBR -> (DOP-IOS) -> cIOS38rev14 Installer and that it.

Hacked the Wii using xzxero's tut. So I didn't expected any problem...

BTW:if you miss somes IOSes, just install them with Dop-IOS.

And don't patch ALL your IOSes: Hackmii Installer / HBC don't like this (exept if you want the "inverted HBC"

)

when running dop-ios just have a look at the upper right part on the screen: it will warn you if the IOS is absent and you can update it or install an ancient version
hopefully dop-ios refuse to install stub ioses so it's a safe application

Well, it's not it's main purpose, but you could try UNCORP to install all IOS' in a working state (no stubs etc.).

Think I will first try to reinstall IOS 22 with DOP-IOS (got the tip somewhere else...) and see what ios will be mentioned to be missing...
after that I'll try PMW again...

Got it back working...

First PMW stopped at IOS22, replaced with DOP-IOS. Starting PMW again, stopping at IOS21. Replaced with DOP-IOS. And so on...

At last, all IOS where PMW stopped have been replaced and the Problem was gone.

always used pimp my wii & never had a problem... latest version is almost perfect, I was able to correct a couple of missing IOS after upgrading to 4.2
