ROM Hack Pilotwings Resort rom hacking?

I dumped my copy of Pilotwings Resort using Braindump, and I would like to know if there are any romhacks for it. Or if there's any tools to making my own romhack.
I also unpacked the romfs.bin file with Ctrtool, here's a filelist http://puu.sh/l4Eos/9d1125827d.txt

Well, music editing/replacing is probably possible.

I would like to edit that timer and other things, but as far as I can tell, .car, .trk and .res are unknown formats. So it's not possible to do that.

Yeah it is, the .bcstm format is known and is easily editable using Every File Explorer.

Did anybody ever figure anything out? I'd love to have an endless free-flight mode, or possibly edit the speed of certain air crafts and whatnot.
