I installed PictoDS (a windows application used to convert photos into a format that CBDS can read.) here, but when I open the application, it dosen't show anything, and when I looked at it on task manager, it seems it was trying to open it but it got closed? I tried reinstalling the zip file from the website but it dosen't do any difference.

That's weird. I'm on Windows 10 and I can run it without problems. Don't need any compatibility settings either. What os are you on?
I take it you have java?

Tried both, does not work (also by saying "extracted all the folders" do you mean extracting the src zip? I've done that and it still dosen't work
And you're sure you extracted all the folders? Tryp putting it in the root of your disc.

src.zip isn't necessary to extract. You shhould get this after extracting:
pictods.png

I dont know at this point. Tried opening as admin? Set compatibility mode to windows xp?

Is your folder named this: PictoDS_win32_2.1.0
Might be a problem with your java or your antivirus. Do you know if other java apps on your pc work?

Yes its named 'PictoDS_win32_2.1.0' and I can run java programs, as for antivirus It doesn't detect it

Ok. I just figured the antivirus blocks it when you start running it.

Try using my folder then and see if anything changes?
