Hi there.
In some youtube tutorials ive seen people NOT recomending the use of flexcables provided with the chips from ali.
Has someone a reason not to use them? I think its a very clean installation with these guys.

It's certainly cleaner and maybe a little faster. But many of these flex cables can't handle a lot of heat and are of poorer quality. I use cables at the individual points and I know 100% that there won't be any problems.
 
Maybe it's because they are more expensive than wires, and also model-specific, so installers would need to keep multiple versions on hand. I believe it's easier to rip pads with them, too.

The MOSFET flex, on the other hand, is convenient, faster to install than hand-wiring, and can fit all models except the V1 (which is rare to find unpached nowadays).
