Hi....i installed picifly on a lite switch....everything ok but when i was turning on got a fuckin bsod...i dont even put a sd card... the first time got no sd...after that just blue screen? Am i bricked it? Is there any solution...the console is brand new
are you success when reball MMC?

hello, does anyone know how to solder this part of the mosfet source to the SOC, been trying to figure out how to solder this all night, the solder keeps falling off, it sticks first times but then it removes itself multiple times , that damn wires
Are you using flux? Because if you aren't using flux, start using flux.

Third lite, .. all are single mosfet install.
This time i try to use new mosfet (Alpha Omega) but not working, it boots into stock OFW, even though the mosfet itself is working, i tested it with multimeter. Wiring is the same. Didnt try install double mosfet though.
After that directly replace with usual mosfet(OnSemi) same wiring n layout just swap the mosfet, and.. it instantly boot the sdcard screen.
Theory though, maybe single or double is mosfet dependent.
Will try new mosfet on the fourth and see if it behave the same.
Anyway it was another success.

Which model of mosfet did you use, just for scientific purposes

In the picoflyguide there is the diagram connection for the rp2040 seed. there are two pins that are lebeled as "detection". what are those pins used for in the installation?
I mean that in the zero and the one version those pins don't appear at all...

That is because picofly was originally written for RP2040-Zero by waveshare. To get the firmware to detect you are flashing on a Seeed xiao instead of a RP2040-Zero, you need to solder across the "detection" pins before flashing the firmware.

So I need to bridge those two pins before flashing the firmware and leave them bridged? or after flashing i need two breack the conection?
Thank you all!

Actually i fucked up 2 switches...mine and my wife's (this one is making me troubles kkkk). The first i will use this board you suggested... the second (hers) i dont havr any idea what happened (the solder points were perfect and it simple gave me a bsod)

Please don't use hot gun, it might disconnect the APU off.

I've read from the previous ifixit link, it might occured because of the APU has somehow disconnected. And its quite make a sense.

Have you tried that simple step in the ifixit, who knows maybe its work.
Yeah, I think it mostly happen to dropped Switches. So the solder joints crack
