Homebrew PicoDrive Trouble

I've recently installed PicoDrive, and after looking through this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-picodrive-for-3ds.493521/page-13 I've run into some trouble.

the problem is my roms won't load. I only have .iso files, and have since converted them to .bin. they are in the picodrive folder like so:
SD:/3ds/picodrive_3ds/bios

yet I still get the message "Hmm unable to load ROM"! I'm not sure what else to do, any help is much needed and appreciated!

(also, if anyone would mind letting me know if PicoDrive can run .iso files that would be amazing-- I hate converting)

The error message "Hmm... unable to load ROM" comes when you forgot to place the CD ROM BIOS in SD:/3ds/picodrive_3ds/bios.

And in which folder do you put your Game ROMS?

Not sure it matters but I'd suggest NOT putting your CDs in the bios folder. Only the BIOS file goes there. Which is what those bios_cd_x.bin files are, not disc images.

Like the other posters said, you should probably put your Mega CD games in a roms folder or something.

You need a BIOS file from the appropriate region to actually emulate the Mega CD. And make sure you have enough space for the SRAM image files. (Shouldn't be a problem, they're not that big.)
