Hardware Photofast CR-5400 Problems

Im using a psp 1000 CFW 6.60 PRO-C2
I got a Photofast CR-5400 and a 16 GB Sandisk micro sd card
I then put the micro sd card into the slot 1 adapator plugged it into my psp, try to format it with the psp and it says 'There is no Memory Stick inserted'
I can see the orange lite is constantly blinking with the adapter inserted
any ideas what is going on here?

First of, CR-5400 production was long ended. Any adapter you get these days is counterfeit (fake) one. Try to format it with the adapter on PC, if that still doesn't work then get another adapter (their quality varies a lot).

Or better yet, get a real Memory Stick Pro Duo. Yes real deal costs a lot, but is so much better than these adapters even when adapters do work.

i heard that 6.xx firmware had compatibility issues with CR5400.
so try format it in PSP, if it fails then plug it on your PC and browse the memstick, if you see nothing there but just a two hidden files, then you have the famous cr5400 6.xx not formatting issue.
