yeah... like every 2 minutes you have to look into a dictionary.

The game looks like a ritzy DS version of Monster Rancher on the PSP. Now I wish I had paid more attention in Japanese class...

The Jap Version is fun, but I think the English one will be better. The japanese version is still playable, but a bit boring since you can't communicate with your partner(s).
